History
The Tallwood High School Band started as one of Tallwood High School’s inaugural programs in 1992. As the 10th high school in Virginia Beach, the THS Band had plenty of stiff competition to work through in order to prove themselves. Through quality training and mentoring from the very beginning, Tallwood High School Band has earned and maintains a reputation as one of Virginia Beach’s finest musical programs.
Director
Since 2007, Tallwood has been under the skillful direction of Mr. Timothy J. Rossettini. Mr. Rossettini is a graduate of James Madison University, and has earned numerous accords and accolades over his musical and education careers.
